On behalf of the JRFC we are excited to announce Serge Hollis as our new Game Development Officer (GDO) at the club heading into the 2021-22 season.
Serge has already proved himself as a great man about the club with his commitment and dedication around the Premier and Academy set up as well as establishing links to our local colleges.
Serge is a multi-tasker currently working as a Teacher Aid at Westpark School, also owns the Inspired Meal Prep food business and is a chef for Kiwi Can Do. Serge also has a Royal NZ Navy background bringing a significant amount of discipline to his approach.
We wish Serge all the best as we open a new chapter in the development of our rugby in the Village. Our local catchment is a challenge at present but one we see a real opportunity at building with the support of the wider community.
At the same time, we bid farewell to Hiko Davies who is moving on. Hik has been a soldier at the club over the past 7 or 8 years and has been extremely committed to the Hawks cause. Recent years have proved to be a challenge for the club and rugby as a whole and Hik has been instrumental in maintaining a strong link with our schools, colleges and the Union along every step of the year. We wish Hik all the best in his future endeavours and hope to see him around the traps.
